RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A CHANGE IN THE
BID DOCUMENTS FOR IMPROVEMENTS IN
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 76-2 AND
AUTHORIZING NOTICE OF SUCH CHANGE

WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 553, this Board of Directors has here-
tofore approved plans and specifications for the construction of certain
water improvements as described in Resolution No. 550, the Resolution of
Intention; and
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 575 , this Board of Directors approved
revised plans and specifications for such improvements; and
WHEREAS, this Board of Directors now wishes to amend the bid documments
included in said plans and specifications so as to specify that bids submit-
ted will remain valid, binding, and irrevocable until April 2, 1981,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the San Marcos County Water
District HEREBY DOES RESOLVE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The bid documents included within the aforesaid plans and
specifications as revised (entitled "Contract Documents and Specifications
for the Construction of 2.5 Million Gallon Steel Tank, Modifications to
Existing Water Pump Station and Chlorination Facilities, Water Transmission
Mains, and Appurtenances for Assessment District No. 76-2 (Mt. Whitney)")
hereby are revised to provide that the bids submitted in response thereto
shall be valid, binding, and irrevocable until April 2, 1981.
SECTION 2. The Engineer hereby is authorized and directed to give
notice, by appropriate addendum published in THE SAN MARCOS OUTLOOK and
mailed to prospective bidders, of such revision. The Engineer is further
authorized and directed to acquire that each person submitting a bid for
the aforesaid work acknowledge in writing his or her awareness of said
change to the bid documents.
