RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING REVISED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR IMPROVEMENTS IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO.
76-2 AND AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF REVISED
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR BID

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the San Marcos County Water
District has heretofore adopted its Resolution of Intention to order improve-
ments and to form Assessment District No. 76-2 under the Municipal Improvement
Act of 1913; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 553 this Board of Directors approved
plans and specifications for the construction of certain water improvements
as described in said Resolution of Intention prepared by Neste, Brudin & Stone,
Ind (herein referred to as the "Engineer") and fixed September 30, 1980, as
the date for the receipt of bids from contractors with respect to the construc-
tion of the proposed improvements; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 572 this Board of Driectors amended said
Resolution of Intention so as to change the description of the proposed im-
provements and the diagram showing the location of existing and proposed water
improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has prepared revised plans and specifications
for the construction of the proposed improvements as described in said Resolu-
tion of Intention, as amended, for the benefit of the proposed Assessment
District No. 76-2; and
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to submit said revised
plans and specifications for bid in order to determine the reasibility of the
installation thereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the San Marcos County
Water District DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:

Section 1. The revised plans and specifications prepared by the
Engineer and entitled "Contract Documents and Specifications for the Construc-
tion of 2.5 Million Gallon Steel Tank, Modifications to Existing Water Pump
Station and Chlorination Facilities Water Transmission Mains and Appurtenances
for Assessment District No. 76-2 (Mt. Whitney)" are hereby approved.
Section 2. The Secretary is hereby instructed to submit to con-
tractors said revised plans and specifications for bid as set forth in said
revised plans and specifications, and to publishe the notice inviting bids,
which appears in said specifications, in THE SAN MARCOS OUTLOOK, a newspaper
of general circulation within the District. Said notice inviting bids shall
provide that bids shall be received and opened by the Secretary on December ll,
1980, at the hour of 3:00 o'clock p.m. in the office of said Secretary.
