A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SAN
MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 550, THE RESOLUTION OF INTENTION, AND
DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE BOARD TO CONDUCT A
PUBLIC HEARING IN CONNECTION WITH ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
NO. 76-2 (MT. WHITNEY)
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the San Marcos County Water
District has heretofore adopted its Resolution No. 550, entitled "Resolution
of the Board of Directors of the San Marcos County Water District Declaring
Its Intention to Order the Acquisition of Certain Property and the Construction
of Certain Improvements and to Form Assessment District No. 76-2 (Mt. Whitney;
and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of said Resolution No. 550,
the Engineer of Work has recommended certain modifications to the improvements
described in said Resolution No. 550; and
WHEREAS, this Board wishes to concur in the recommendation of the
Engineer of Work and amend the improvements proposed to be constructed in
connection with Assessment District No. 76-2,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the San Marcos County
Water District DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. Section 5 of Resolution No. 550 of the Board of
Directors of the San Marcos County Water District is hereby amended to read
as follows:
Section 5. The improvements which the Board of
Directors intends to order are the acquisition of certain
property and the construction of certain waterworks system
improvements, appurtenances, and all appurtenant work in
connection therewith, in certain streets, alleys, and other
public easements as follows:
1. A 2,500,000 gallon water storage reservoir;
2. Approximately 49,000 feet of waterlines,
including 6, 8, 12, 16 and 21 inch diameter pipe;
3. Modified pump station facilities and
chlorination facilities;

4. Waterline appurtenances including air
valve assemblies, blow-off assemblies, valves,
and fire hydrants; and
5. The necessary real property, easements,
and rights of way for the foregoing,
all located generally as depicted in the diagram
entitled "Assessment District 76-2 Showing Existing
and Proposed Water Facilities", attached hereto as
Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this reference.
Section 2. Said Resolution No. 550 is further amended by
substituting for the diagram attached thereto as Exhibit "A" the diagram
which is entitled "Assessment District 76-2 Showing Existing and Proposed
Water Facilities" and which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incor-
porated herein by this reference.
Section 3. Except as specifically amended by Section 1 and 2
hereof, Resolution No. 550, and each and every section thereof, shall remain
in full force and effect.
Section 4. This Board of Directors hereby declares its intention
to conduct a public hearing to consider the report of the Engineer of Work
in connection with the foregoing at 3:00 o'clock p.m., Monday, December 15,
1980, at the offices of the District, 788 San Marcos Boulevard, San Marcos,
California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 20th day of October 1980, by the
following roll call vote:
