A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SAN
MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT APPROVING AND
AUTHORIZING THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE PRELIMINARY
OFFICIAL STATEMENT WITH RESPECT TO IMPROVEMENT
BONDS OF SAID DISTRICT 76-2 (MT. WHITNEY)
WHEREAS, The San Marcos County Water District proposes to issue
and sell $5,579,759.34 principal amount of bonds to be designated "Improve-
ment Bonds, San Marcos County Water District, County of San Diego, State of
California, Assessment District No. 76-2 (Mt. Whitney)"; and
WHEREAS, there has been prepared and presented to BOARD OF DIRECTORS
a proposed preliminary Official Statement with respect to said bonds; and
WHEREAS,this BOARD OF DIRECTORS wishes to authorize distribution of
said preliminary Official Statement in order to facilitate the proposed sale
of said bonds,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of San Marcos County Water
District hereby does resolve, order and determine that;
SECTION 1: The preliminary Official Statement presented to
this BOARD OF DIRECTORS on this date is hereby approved for distribution in
connection with the sale of the aforesaid bonds in substantially the form
presented.
SECTION 2: The President of the Board of Directors, Secretary
of the District, or either of them hereby is authorized to approve any correc-
tions and additions to said preliminary Official Statement (whether by
supplement to, amendment, or otherwise as appropriate), which, in the judgement
of the person granting such approval, is necessary to cause the information
contained therein to conform with facts material to the bonds or to the pro-
ceedings of this Board of Directors.
