RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT EXPRESSING APPRECIATION
FOR THE SERVICES OF MICHAEL J. HATCH
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District regrets the retirement of
MICHAEL J. HATCH; and
WHEREAS, MICHAEL J. HATCH has served the Vallecitos Water District for more than 11
years beginning in July 1992 as a Meter Service Worker I and being advanced to the position of
Meter Service Worker II in July 1994; and
WHEREAS, MICHAEL J. HATCH served the District for those 11 years with great skill and
devotion, demonstrating his ability to work with customers and other employees of the District; and
WHEREAS, MICHAEL J. HATCH has performed meter reading, inspection, and customer
service work related to water distribution; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires that public recognition of the services of MICHAEL
J. HATCH on behalf of the District be given;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water
District as follows:
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District, on behalf of themselves,
the management and personnel of the District, and the citizens of the District, does hereby express
its appreciation for the very valuable and professional work performed by MICHAEL J. HATCH.
SECTION 2. The contribution, diligent efforts, selfless service of MICHAEL J. HATCH on
behalf of this District and his devoted loyalty are hereby commended as part of the permanent
records of the Vallecitos Water District.
SECTION 3. The Board of Directors, staff, and employees of the District, collectively and
individually, wish MICHAEL J. HATCH the best fortune in his future.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water
District at a regular meeting held on the 17TH day of March 2004 by the following roll call vote:
