RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT DESIGNATING THE DISTRICT
REPRESENTATIVE, MARGARET E. FERGUSON, TO A MEMBER OF THE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, Vallecitos Water District is a member of the SAN DIEGO COUNTY
WATER AUTHORITY and entitled to one representative to serve as a member of the Board
of Directors of the SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors adopted Resolution No. 748 on February 3, 1986,
Resolution No. 920 on February 5, 1992, Resolution No. 1049 on February 4, 1998, and
Resolution No. 1207 on February 18, 2004, appointing Dale Mason as the District's
representative on the Board of Directors of the SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER
AUTHORITY; and
WHEREAS, Dale Mason has retired from the Vallecitos Water District Board of
Directors on May 19, 2004, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos
Water District as follows:
SECTION 1: The President of the Board, with the approval and acquiescence of the
Board of Directors, does hereby appoint Margaret E. "Betty" Ferguson as a member of the
Board of Directors of the SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY as a representative
of this District on said Board for the term June 24, 2004, through March 7, 2010.
SECTION 2: The Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to provide a certified
copy of this resolution to the SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos
Water District at a regular meeting held on the 2nd day of June 2004 by the following roll call
vote:
