RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT ORDERING
THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY DESIGNATED
THE LACOSTA MEADOWS NO. 2 ANNEXATION TO SAN
MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT PURSUANT TO
SECTION 32552 OF THE WATER CODE OF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SAN MARCOS
COUNTY WATER DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The following facts are hereby found and deter-
mined to be true:
(a) That the San Marcos County Water District owns,
operates, and maintains a water distribution system under and by
virtue of law as set forth commencing at Section 30000 of the Water
Code of the State of California.
(b) That the owners of the land described in this
Resolution have given their written consent to the annexation of
said lands to the San Marcos County Water District and have, in-
writing, requested the annexation of said lands to said District.
(c) That the owners of the land described in this
Resolution have advanced to the Secretary of the San Marcos County
Water District the costs of this annexation, including, but not
limited to advertising, engineering and attorney's fees.
(d) The inclusion of said land to the District will be
for the best interests of the District.
(e) The inclusion of said land within said District will
be for the best interests of the land, and the owners thereof consent
to the inclusion of said land in the San Marcos County Water District.
(f) The Board of Directors determines that all of the
land hereinafter described shall be included in the San Marcos County
Water District; that the proceedings had for the annexation and
inclusion herein were genuine and sufficient and in all respects
complied with the Water Code of the State of California commencing
at Section 30000.

Section 2: The Board of Directors of the San Marcos
County Water District does hereby order the annexation of all of the
land hereinafter described to the San Marcos County Water District.
The legal description of the land included within the San Marcos
County Water District pursuant to this Resolution is attached hereto
marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.
Section 3: The conditions of the said annexation are as
follows:
(a) Payment by the owners of the Territory to be annexed
to the San Marcos County Water District of the sum of $25.00 per acre
or fraction thereof for 40.43 acres amounting to $1,025.00 as an
annexation fee.
(b) Payment by the owners of the Territory to be annexed
to said District of all costs of processing the annexation including
but not limited to attorney's fees and engineering and administrative
costs.
(c) The lands annexed to the District shall be subject
to existing bond issues and indebetedness of the District from and
after the filing with the San Diego County Assessor of a certified
copy of this resolution, as set forth in Section 32553 of the Water
Code of the State of California.
Section 4: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage; this Resolution being adopted
pursuant to Section 32552 of the Water Code of the State of
California. This Resolution being adopted without notice and
hearing and without an election being conducted in said Territory
all in accordance with Section 32552 of the Water Code of the State
of California. The Secretary of this District shall comply with
the provisions of the Water Code, Section 32553 and shall file a
certified copy of this Resolution, together with a map of the
territory thus annexed with the San Diego County Assessor and the
San Diego County Tax Collector and with the State Board of Equal-
ization.

A portion of Government Lot No. 2 in Section 30, Township 12 South,
Range 3 West, San Bernardino Meridian, according to the Official plat
thereof on file in the Office of the County Recorder, in the County
of San Diego, State of California, more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Government Lot No. 2;
thence Easterly along the North line of said Government Lot No. 2,
North 89° 45' 22" East, a distance of 1590.53 feet; thence leaving
said North line South 20° 55' 30" West, a distance of 1398.53 feet;
thence North 69° 04' 30" West a distance of 42.00 feet to the beginn-
ing of a 1330.00 foot radius curve, a radial line to said point bears
South 20° 55' 30" West, thence Northwesterly along the arc of said
1330.00 foot radius curve through a central angle of 40° 29' 30" a
distance of 939.93 feet; thence North 28° 35' 00" West, 359.59 feet;
thence South 61° 25' 00" West, 141.60 feet to the beginning of a
tangent 500.00 foot radius curve; thence Westerly along the arc of
said curve through a central angle of 6° 04' 22" a distance of 53.00
feet; thence leaving said curve North 21° 16' 00" West, 51.19 feet
to an intersection with the West line of the above mentioned Govern-

described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Section 25, thence South
0° 51' 37" West along the East line of said Section 25, a distance
of 1738.23 feet; thence leaving said East line North 21° 16' 00" West,
142.54 feet; thence North 24° 00' 00" West, 363.62 feet; thence North
17° 50' 30" West, 286.04 feet; thence North 0° 10' 47" East, 36.81
feet; thence North 17° 50' 30" West, 120.00 feet; thence North 72°
09' 30" East, 145.00 feet; thence North 17° 50' 30" West, 212.50 feet;
