RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SAN
MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, CALIFORNIA,
FINDING THAT THE DISTRICT SECURITIES INVESTI-
GATION LAW OF 1965 DOES NOT REQUIRE APPROVAL
BY THE OFFICE OF THE STATE TREASURER, DIS-
TRICTS SECURITIES DIVISION, OF BONDS OF SAID
DISTRICT DESIGNATED "IMPROVEMENT BOND, SAN
MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, COUNTY OF SAN
DIEGO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ASSESSMENT DIS
TRICT NO. 75-1, SERIES NO. 1"
WHEREAS, the District Securities Investigation Law of 1965
(Sections 58750 through 58761, inclusive, of the Government Code)
is applicable to bonds issued by San Marcos County Water District;
and
WHEREAS, this Board of Directors has heretofore adopted
its Resolution No. 402 authorizing said District to issue bonds
pursuant to the Improvement Bond Act of 1915 in the total principal
amount of $2,945,000.00, said bonds being designated "Improvement
Bond, San Marcos County Water District, County of
San Diego, State of California, Assessment District No. 75-1,
Series No. 1";
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the San Marcos
County Water District DOES HEREBY FIND, RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND
ORDER as follows:
SECTION 1. That the issuance of said bonds designated
"Improvement Bond, San Marcos County Water District, County of
San Diego, State of California, Assessment District No. 75-1,
Series No. 1" is not subject to prior investigation, report, and
approval by the Office of the State Treasurer, Districts Secur-'
ities Division, for the reason that there are five hundred (500)
or more voters residing within the District.
SECTION 2. That said findings are hereby made on the
basis of the certificate of the Secretary of said District attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" and by this reference incorporated herein.

I, JAMES F. McKAY, Secretary of the Board of Directors
of San Marcos County Water District, do hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the Board of
Directors of said District at an adjourned regular meeting of
said Board duly held on the 28th day of July, 1976, and that
it was so adopted by the following vote:

of San Marcos County Water District, do hereby certify as
follows:
That I have been informed by the office of
the Registrar of Voters of San Diego County, Cali-
fornia, that, as of July 23, 1976, there were
8,993 registered voters within the District.
I hereby certify under penalty of perjury that the fore-
going is true and correct.

SECTION 3. That the Secretary of this Board is hereby
