RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT EXPRESSING APPRECIATION
FOR THE SERVICES OF KAREN WOODS
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District regrets the retirement of
KAREN WOODS; and
WHEREAS, KAREN WOODS has served the Vallecitos Water District for more than 19½
years beginning in December, 1984 as a Laboratory Technician/Industrial Waste Inspector and
serving through the years as an Industrial Waste Inspector, Senior Industrial Waste Inspector,
Industrial Waste Supervisor, and Revenue Specialist; and
WHEREAS, KAREN WOODS served the District for more than 19½ years with great skill and
devotion, demonstrating her ability to work with customers and other employees of the District; and
WHEREAS, KAREN WOODS has performed a wide range of duties in support of District
activities; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires that public recognition of the services of KAREN
WOODS on behalf of the District be given;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water
District as follows:
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District, on behalf of themselves,
the management and personnel of the District, and the citizens of the District, does hereby express
its appreciation for the very valuable and professional work performed by KAREN WOODS.
SECTION 2. The contribution, diligent efforts, selfless service of KAREN WOODS on behalf
of this District and her devoted loyalty are hereby commended as part of the permanent records of
the Vallecitos Water District.
SECTION 3. The Board of Directors, staff, and employees of the District, collectively and
individually, wish KAREN WOODS the best fortune in her future.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water
District at a regular meeting held on the 1st day of September, 2004, by the following roll call vote:
