RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTIRCT
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
IMPROVEMENTS IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO.
75-1 AND AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION THEREOF
FOR BID
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the San Marcos County
Water District has heretofore adopted its resolution declaring its
intention to order the acquisition of certain property and the con-
struction of waterworks system improvements and to form Assessment
District No. 75-1, in which resolution said Board of Directors
directed the Engineer of Work to prepare plans and specifications for
the improvements described in said resolution not already installed;
and
WHEREAS, said Engineer of Work has prepared said plans and
specifications for the acquisition and construction of said improve-
ments and for the acquisition of materials necessary therefore; and
WHEREAS, this Board of Directors deems it necessary and
desirable that the work described in said plans and specifications be
constructed by the District; and
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to submit said
plans and specifications for bid in order to determine the feasibility
of the installation thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, The Board of Directors of the San Marcos
County Water District DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as
follows:
SECTION 1. That said plans and specifications are
hereby approved.
SECTION 2. That the plans and specifications be submitted
for competitive bids, and the Secretary of said District is hereby
instructed to submit to contractors and suppliers said plans and speci-
fications for bid and to publish the notice inviting bids which appears
in said specifications, in the SAN MARCOS OUTLOOK, a newspaper Of
general circulation published within the District once a week for two (2)

weeks. Said notice inviting bids shall provide that bids shall be
received and opened by the Engineer on June 24, 1976, at the hour of
3:00 o'clock p.m., in the office of the District, 788 San Marcos
Boulevard, San Marcos, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of May, 1976, by the
following roll call vote:
