RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
RATIFYING ACCEPTANCE BY THE DISTRICT OF
THE WATER SYSTEM IN LA COSTA MEADOWS,
UNIT 3 SUBDIVISION, AND AUTHORIZING THE
DISCHARGE OF THE INSTRUMENT OF CREDIT
PERTAINING TO THAT WATER SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the La Costa Land Company has constructed a
water system for LA COSTA MEADOWS UNIT NO. 3;
WHEREAS, the La Costa Land Company provided a letter
of credit from U. S. National Bank in favor of the San Marcos
County Water District, in assurance of the construction of the
water system; and
WHEREAS, that letter of credit provides for release of
funds by the financial institution [U. S. National Bank] after
receipt by financial institution of a certified copy of the Res-
olution of the Board of Directors of the San Marcos County Water
District authorizing the General Manager to accept the improvements
in La Costa Meadows, Unit 3 Subdivision.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the San Marcos
County Water'District DOES HEREBY FIND, RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND
ORDER as follows:
Section 1: The action of the General Manager in accept-
ing the water system required in connection with the La Costa
Meadows, Unit 3 Subdivision, is hereby ratified, approved and con-
firmed.
Section 2: The General Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to release the letter of credit provided by La Costa Land
Company through U. S. National Bank issued to assure the acceptable
completion of the project and to execute all necessary documents or
correspondence in connection therewith.
