RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT PLACING IN NOMINATION
MARGARET E. FERGUSON AS A MEMBER OF THE
ASSOCIATION OF CALIFORNIA WATER AGENCIES REGION 10 BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF VAllECITOS WATER
DISTRICT AS FOllOWS:
A. Recitals
(i) The Board of Directors (Board) of the Vallecitos Water District does
encourage and support the participation of its members in the affairs of
the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA).
(ii) Director Ferguson is currently serving as a Board Member for ACWA
Region 10, and/or
(iii) Director Ferguson has indicated a desire to serve as a Board Member
of ACWA Region 10.
B. Resolves
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF VAllECITOS WATER DISTRICT,
(i) Does place its full and· unreserved support in the nomination of
Margaret E. "Betty" Ferguson for a Board Member of ACWA Region 10.
(ii) Does hereby determine that the expenses attendant with the service of
. Margaret E. Ferguson in ACWA Region 10 shall be borne by the
Vallecitos Water District.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting held on this 1st day
of June, 2005, by the following vote:
